This book was recommendation on my Kindle and once I read the synopsis I was intrigued… I usually don’t like reading nonfiction books but this one hooked me and kept me on the edge of my seat…

The author was brilliant in his story telling especially with the subject matter…Β  “If you Tell” if the story of 3 sisters who were abused by their mother and the murders that occurred due to her abuse.

Each sister has a different perspective on the abuse as they are different ages and their mother would pick a different target for her abuse. While each sister has a different biological father Dave was the one who raised them with Shelly… If raise is the word you can you to describe what Dave did for those girls at the time.

Now this book is not for the faint of heart, the topic is gut wrenching, and there are moments when you find yourself wanting to scream… To know that a parent/person can be this EVIL to the people they claim to love is something many of us find hard to grasp…

While I found the book riveting, disheartening, sad, and beyond maddening; I am happy to know that the sisters have been able to stay connected and live a semblance of normalcy…
