Frankie is another one of those Kelly’s and is trying to prove to herself and everyone else that she can be a great cop along with her K-9 partner. She knows that her father doesn’t approve of her choices and the K-9 unit that was put in place in the police department. She has always seen the complicated relationship her father and brothers have had during the years. She can’t help but be affected by her father and his disapproval.

She is in love John her boss at work and the love of her life, but with everything going one she can’t decide what she truly wants. John is in love and ready for the next step with Frankie but her worries over what her co-workers and father will think are holding her back.

I enjoyed this love story very much and was glad to see a kick ass chick and an alpha male that isn’t threatened by his lover. He wants her to grow and excel into the police officer he knows she can be. I found this story refreshing and can’t wait to read more.
