This was a cute short story about Tala Graystone and Yas Collins, I enjoyed being able to read this during my lunch hour and get wrapped up in story. While this is a short read this book does provide a good storyline and the author has left enough room for the series to continue. I was worried that this being book 23 in the series I would feel lost or confused the entire time, but I found this book can be read as a stand-alone. Tala is an independent she wolf that knows what she wants and isn’t going to let her brother or any other egotistical male get in her way. Yas is looking for his roots, after growing up in the city with his mom and sister he wants to feel grounded to something. When he meets Tala he’s instantly attracted but feels he can’t trust his wolf around her.

I won’t go into many details because you all know I hate to give out spoilers, plus what’s the fun in that; go get the book and fall in love with a new series.I do wish this book was longer because it left me wanting more. I give this book 3 diamonds and am definitely interested in reading this series from the beginning.
