I really enjoyed this story it had everything you could want from a paranormal romance. After reading the book summary I was intrigued to read this book and I am glad I was not let down.

Drake is a complicated individual who is dealing with guilt that he feel no one can understand. To his guilt let’s add the fact that he is an old Vampire; which gives him a perfect excuse to hid in his library. Aliandra is the town doctor and is a feisty individual who also happens to be a dragon. Drake and Aliandra met at a wedding and can’t understand their attraction.

I really enjoyed Aliandra in this book because she was a go getter and a no BS kind of woman. She chased Drake and made sure he knew exactly what she was feeling. Drake was confused even more after their first encounter and the guilt was eating him up.
